Before the start of IPL 2012 on April 4th, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) announced a new marketing campaign and unveiled a refreshed team logo. The new campaign, called “New Dawn. New Knights.”, aims to build on the previous year’s success with a new team and coach.
The team kept their traditional colors of purple and gold but incorporated a new and striking logo. Shahrukh Khan, the co-owner of KKR, expressed excitement for the upcoming season with the new campaign and new players. Meanwhile, Venky Mysore, the CEO of KKR, expressed confidence that the new logo and campaign will help them achieve their goals of growing their fan base and building a profitable business.
